Building extension at COMVAT in Haag

By end of June 2008 the move-in into the new building extension in Haag was celebrated together with the employees and their families.

In the ground floor a new cleanroom area of 800 sqm. now doubles the existing cleanroom area for the manufacturing of the products of the COMVAT. The upper floor accommodates office space for Sales, Marketing and the R&D laboratories.

Over the past years COMVAT established herself as the market leader in Europe and is today the undisputed leader in welded bellows technology. Besides serving the vacuum industry COMVAT supplies also to the medical technology industry and to the automotive industry.

The pleasing continuous growth of the COMVAT AG in the past years made a development of the location in Haag, Switzerland possible. The new building makes infrastructure for further growth available. Thus the increasing demand of the existing European customers can be satisfied. At the same time an important preparation for world-wide market opportunities is made.

With the new building also additional jobs are created. COMVAT established 15 additional jobs in the last twelve months and new jobs will be added with the start-up of the new manufacturing area.
